A New Year

We have three young men from UNC Chapel Hill staying with us. We have been visiting people of various ages and having great conversations. At the end of one conversation I asked them what stood out for them during our talk. The response was that no one mentioned money, a big house or nice car being necessary to well being. I asked those at the table with us what they thought. They all agreed that you need to have a job and make enough to live with dignity but you won't take it with you when you leave this world. Their feelings were that health, family, friends, good company (with some nice wine of course!) being productive and supportive to those in your community were essential to well being. To me this is what is real. My wish for you as we start 2022 is that you have everything that makes life worth living..

Happy New Year to all of you!!
